JUNO

Only just on the market – and already recipient of an international award: in the spring JUNO was distinguished with the Red Dot Design Award 2020 in the Product Design category. The jury of one of the world’s largest design competitions praised the luminaire as a “design that sets new standards”.

Spotlight on! JUNO places unusual highlights in the store, be they of the visual or of the lighting technology kind. The spotlight with the housing lined in black reminds you of a stylish camera and hence gives certain areas a great look that skilfully plays on the associations with the topic of “catching the moment or a star”. Easy to recognize: the free-form lens with the teardrop-shaped surround. Thanks to its rear faceted structure, it reminds you of a radiant jewel. 

The flamboyant track-mounted spotlight is technically convincing due to its excellent glare-suppression. It is achieved by the special structure of the rear side of the lens that has already proved successful in Oktalite’s patented 3D faceted reflector technology. The luminance at the LED is split up and the light is systematically introduced into the lens – that results in optimum directional lighting control. JUNO hence makes choosing and shopping even more relaxed.  

One further advantage for the retailer: the spotlight head can be swivelled through up to 40° and can be aligned thanks to an embossed scale: adjustment and goods accentuation on the spot cannot be easier.

JUNO as a black suspended luminaire and a custom-made product for the Oktalite fair stand at EuroShop 2020 attracted all gazes. As a luminaire installation, it left its stamp on the communication area and thrilled the visitors. Due to this extraordinary resonance, in this version JUNO will be added to the product series – developments for the inclusion of the suspended luminaire in the portfolio are in progress.
